June 2, 2026 — Crescent Beach Road Resurfacing Update

A message from the Department of Public Works…

🚧 Project Update: Road Resurfacing (Rubber Chip Seal) 🚧

Heads Up for Tomorrow – Starting at 7:00 AM

Our crews will continue resurfacing operations in the following areas:

📍 Scheduled Roads:

Crescent Ave

Bayview Ave

Ocean Ave

Atlantic St

Columbus Ave

⚠️ Important Reminders:

Please plan for delays and avoid these areas when possible.

No on-street parking during work hours to allow crews to perform resurfacing and follow-up sweeping.

Parking restrictions will remain in place until signage is removed or further notice is provided.

⏰ Work Hours:

Starting at 7:00 AM

Crews may continue working until 6:00–7:00 PM

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue improving our roads.

Please note the following important reminders:

No on-street parking will be permitted on the day of work and the following day, to allow crews to complete the work and ensure proper curing time.

If you have an irrigation system, please ensure that it is not spraying onto the roadway. Wet pavement will delay the work, as the surface cannot be applied until it is dry.

Residents should still be able to access their properties during construction, but some delays are likely. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Get your red, white and blue on to celebrate 250 years of the USA. Decorate yourself and your table or beach seating area with the stars and stripes.

Annual CBA Golf Tournament at Cedar Ridge:  Friday, July 3 at 8:30am.  Limited to 18 foursomes.  $50 per golfer.  Checks payable to CBFA.  Drop off to Chip Flanagan in advance.  Contact Chip to register:   chipflanagan356@gmail.com

Reminders

Golf carts are not allowed in Crescent Beach.

Crescent Beach Yard Sale:  August 15 from 8am-1pm!

Be in The Know!:  The CBA board sends official notifications of meetings and other public announcements periodically during the year. The majority of homeowners are now on the official email list which saves the association time and money from snail mailing these notices. This official list is different from this CBFA list. If you are not yet on the CBA official emailing list and would like to get those notifications via complete the attached form and send to CBA secretary Sally Velcofsky at svelcofsky22@gmail.com. The next mailing is coming up soon so please don’t hesitate to contact Sally ASAP.
